We became podcasters at 60! Who knew!

We believe it’s what the world needs now: two free-thinking “seasoned” Black women speaking their truth and inspiring others to do the same.

Shaped by 45 years of friendship that began at the prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School through the Ivy League, medical school, marriages, divorces, triumphs, parenting queer children, life-threatening illness and many many amazing adventures. Each week, besties Leslie Osei-Tutu and Angella Fraser will push against boundaries in love, culture, careers, faith, politics and out-dated assumptions about women of a certain age. Remember, you’re never too old to change your mind…or your hair! (but more on that later :-)

Angella Fraser

Full disclosure: if you looked through my phone, you’d see tons of silly selfies. Laughter is medicine for me and you’ll hear lots of it on this podcast. Even in our difficult or controversial topics, joy finds its way in.

When I’m not podcasting - as co-host & producer - I’m a Talents-based Life Coach helping single /single’ish older women who are ready to find true fulfillment in their next chapter. That includes joy and joyful money-making!

After ending a successful 30 yr career in the tech sector, I’m proud that I’ve given myself permission to incorporate more of the things I love into my life and business, including becoming a wig maker (and wearer) for theatre & film! Say what?!?

More joy, please!

I’ve been told that when I walk into a room, people have to put on sunglasses because I’m all sunshiney. I make no apology for that. Life has had its challenges, trust me, but by God’s grace and the support of my village, I left a teaching career to pursue a life-long dream of becoming a doctor. Starting medical school as a single Mom at age 36 - listen to Episode 2 for my story.

Life is good so I will shine my little light just as brightly as I please.
